President Barack Obama was named the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize today (10/9/09) was it was a surprise and possibly a shock to people all over the world. He is only 1 of few presidents to receive the award. The Norwegian Nobel Committee felt that he stands for a positive process. Though some may have a problem with him winning the award, others are very proud of the President and happy for his great accomplishment.
